The ZR2 (unlike the H2) goes on the lift -barely. Nice to be able to do maintenance/upgrades at home now. First mod was to put shock skid plates on to protect the amazing Multimatic DSSV shocks so we can play even harder off road :)
Summer is still taking it's time to get here so the garage upgrades continue. The new floor from Norsk-Stor is a flexible PVC in a raised diamond pattern and a nice upgrade from the 15 year old polycarbonate floor that was past it's service life.
Another cold weekend while we await spring means more mods for the ZR2!
Rigid Industries SRPro Series LEDS are in. As with most, the project was a bit more involved than expected but the result was good and we are now equipped for spotting the moose in NW Ontario :)
Corsa Sport exhaust is on and sounds great! Corsa is based in Berea, Ohio so we were able to go to the factory for the install. It was the first ZR2 they had done so that was pretty cool and we came away with a wall banner and keychain to boot.
Winter in NE Ohio is a great time to remodel the garage and get things ready for next summer! Cabinetry and wall storage is all up so the last thing left will be to redo the floor a little closer to spring.
So the last piece of the puzzle was a long wait but the new wheels & tires finally are on, just in time for the early onset of the cold, wet weather :(
Good news/bad news, the new wheels arrived a month ago but one was damaged and is being remade. Still about a month out from having the set complete and ready to mount. Hope we beat the snow!
Getting excited about our annual trek 1100 miles north to our favorite lodge in NW Ontario for the 32nd time and the 11th trip for the dependable H2 who loves the gravel, mud and bugs!
